Throughout his career, Dr. Ansari has worked with a number of highly-trained physicians, many of whom helped to mold him into the doctor he is today. Experience in treating patients with various types of conditions has given him the chance to develop his own unique approach to patient care.

Dr. Ansari is able to create individualized courses of treatment for every patient by using the latest in non-surgical interventional techniques. It’s important to him for every patient to fully understand their condition and all of their treatment options. He personally works with every patient to develop a treatment plan that they’re comfortable with.

Headaches can be very bothersome and often debilitating.  There are various causes of headaches such as irritation of a small nerve called the occipital nerve, migraines, and neck problems which can lead to secondary headaches.

There are different types of arthritis such as osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Arthritis can affect various parts of the body including peripheral joints as well as the spine and this can lead to reduced function and quality of life.

CRPS/RSD

Complex Regional Pain Syndrome is chronic pain often involving an extremity and occurs as a result of dysfunction of the central or peripheral nervous system which could be related to a prior injury.

Failed Back Surgery Syndrome

Chronic back pain that remains despite having undergone one or more back surgeries is known as a condition called Failed Back Surgery Syndrome. This can lead to debilitating pain that can hinder daily function and quality of life.

Phantom Limb Pain

Patients who have undergone amputations of one or more limbs may suffer from a condition known as phantom limb pain.  In this condition, patients continue to experience pain in what is perceived to be the amputated limb.

Diabetic Nerve Pain

Patients who suffer from diabetes may develop a painful condition known as neuropathy.  This can often lead to burning type pain with numbness and tingling sensations in the feet and even in the hands.

Post-Herpetic Neuralgia

Patients who develop the shingles can sometimes be left with a condition known as post-herpetic neuralgia which typically occurs after the shingles lesions have already gone away. This condition can lead to chronic pain in the nerve distributions that were affected by the shingles infection.

Chronic Post-Operative Pain

Often times, despite undergoing surgeries to help manage back or neck pain, patients may continue to suffer from these conditions and further surgery may not be warranted.  Patients that have had other surgeries such as abdominal surgery may suffer from chronic post-operative pain as well.

Fibromyalgia

This is a disorder which is characterized by widespread musculoskeletal pain which often is accompanied by sleep disturbances, memory and mood changes as well as fatigue. Some researchers believe this condition amplifies sensations by affecting the way the brain processes pain signals.
